Albatross
The albatross is the biggest living seabird. It is a giant seagull, known for its ability to fly long distances, for cruising the skies.
As a symbol, the albatross usually refers to a tireless flight. When albatrosses landed on a ship, that often also was a sign that it was seeking shelter from bad weather or a storm. Hence, an albatross also forecasts bad weather or high winds.
