Argus

1. In Greek and Roman mythology, Argus was a giant with one hundred eyes that could see everything.
Argus also was the name of the man that built the ship of the Greek hero Jason. The ship was called the Argo. (Hence, the 'argonauts').

2. Argus also is the name of a scientific research project, established in 1992 (?), that investigates crop circles, more exactly the effect that the crop circle has on the vegetation in the circle. See Argus Project.
