Hephaistos

In Greek mythology, Hephaistos was one of the gods. His roman name was Vulcanus. He was the son of Zeus and Hera, though Zeus had his doubts about Hephaistos' true parentage. (Rumor had it that Hera had been unfaithful). He was the God of Creativity, of metallurgy. He was a divine artificer of both practical and magical objects for men and Gods. Because of the doubts about his parentage, at first, Hephaistos was not allowed on Olympos, but he used his magically creative powers to earn his seat among the Twelve Great Gods.
He was married to Aphrodite, the Goddess of Beauty and Love.
