Ludwig Pallmann was a German contactee who had encounters in India and Peru with beings from Itibi Ra.

Who was Ludwig Pallmann?

Pallmann was born on August 20, 1928, a German mill-machine salesman who traveled widely and spoke several languages. He visited India in the 1960s on a business trip but failed to establish his business in Mumbai and Chennai, so he decided to explore the country as a tourist.

First Contact — India, 1964

On October 10, 1964, while on a train to Madras (now Chennai), Pallmann met a stranger who called himself "Satu-Ra," who could only communicate through an electronic device on his chest. Pallmann noticed that Satu-Ra was fluent in English but hesitated when transitioning between sentences.

Satu-Ra had the appearance of a Eurasian man — with huge dark eyes, a rather small mouth, an unusual chin line, and a slightly deformed lower jaw. He also wore fingertip gloves at all times, even in the heat.

During a second meeting at an art gallery in Madras, Satu-Ra showed Pallmann depictions of ancient Indian gods in flying machines, and later similar pre-Columbian art featuring UFO-like saucers. Satu-Ra also gave Pallmann a gold ring that would glow strangely — described as a communication device. He also introduced Pallmann to his sister, Xiti, who dressed like a local to avoid drawing attention.

The Peru Encounter

When Pallmann later fell seriously ill in a Lima hospital, his ring illuminated in the middle of the night and he found Xiti at his bedside. According to him, she gave him miraculous pills that healed his pain. Some time later, Satu-Ra took Pallmann and Xiti to a location near Lake Junin, outside Huancayo in Peru. When it got dark, an extraterrestrial craft landed on the surface of the lake and all three boarded it.

The Alien Base and Their Mission

Pallmann was taken to an alien plantation deep in the Amazon, where plants were being harvested and hybridized. He learned about the "cosmophilosophy" of these humanoid beings, which was of a pacifist, vegetarian, and socialist nature.

The beings claimed to come from a home planet in another solar system and maintained extraterrestrial plantations on Earth, conducting plant hybridizing experiments as part of what was described as a worldwide operation. The book's subtitle calls it the "Cancer Planet Mission," suggesting the beings were here to study or assist with some planetary-level concern.

The Book

Pallmann wrote about these experiences in UFO Contact from Itibi-Ra, which was later compiled and published by UFO researcher Wendelle Stevens. The case was also referenced by UFO author Timothy Good in his book Alien Base: The Evidence for Extraterrestrial Colonization of Earth.

Ludwig Pallmann was never seen again after he went into the Peruvian Amazon rainforest, trying to find the plantation that the aliens had taken him to before.
