Tree

The tree symbolizes the whole of manifestation. It is the synthesis of heaven, earth and water. It is rooted in the depth of the Earth, while the branches reach into the heavens and eternity. It represents dynamic life; nourishing, sheltering, supporting.
Sometimes the roots of a tree can be a symbol of the Underworld.
