Chacon, Raphael

Raphael Chacun — also known as Ralph Chacon — lived in Tucson, Arizona. He had ongoing contacts with the inhabitants of a planet called Zeti, went aboard their ship on several occasions, and they even took him on time travels. In the end, he is believed to have gone with them. The case was investigated by Wendelle Stevens, who met him shortly before he left.

The book is a 120-page biography of the contacts by Chacon in Tucson, AZ, with beings who said they came from their — and his — home planet Zeti, which they proceeded to demonstrate to his satisfaction. He ultimately left with them and did not return.

Regarding the beings themselves, Chacon's main contact was the captain of the ship, called Nardell, who didn't seem solid but consisted of millions of floating dots. Nardell was described as about 5'4" tall with a longer oval-shaped, almost tear-drop-shaped head with the small end up, no hair, no visible ear shells, small eyes set close together, and a long parrot-beak-shaped nose beginning above the eyes. The mouth appeared as a rectangle of small openings or holes, set on a short neck atop a torso that was quite human-like but smaller.

The planet Zeti was said to be from Orion, though it's unclear whether this refers to Alnitak (Zeta Orionis).

The Chacon case is one of the more unusual contactee stories in that it ends with the contactee allegedly departing permanently with the extraterrestrials — making follow-up investigation impossible by definition.
